The chosen rounding applies once to the combined duration, never to each entry. Only use a rule agreed with your client. Amounts are rounded to cents and exclude taxes and expenses. This standalone tool does not save project records or create invoices; reloading resets it.

Calculate a billable amount

Decimal hours × hourly rate gives the amount before taxes and expenses. Two hours and 45 minutes is 2.75 hours. At $120 per hour, that is $330—not $294, which would result from incorrectly treating 2h 45m as 2.45 hours.

Use a timer or enter time already worked

Enter your hourly rate and any previously worked hours and minutes. Start the timer to add a live session, pause when you stop working, and resume when you return. Reset live session clears only the live timer; edit the previous hours separately.

Keep billing rules separate from recorded time

No time rounding is the default. Optional rounding rounds the combined duration up once. Three separate seven-minute entries total 21 minutes: rounding their combined duration to 15 minutes gives 30 minutes, while rounding each entry separately would give 45. This tool uses the combined method. It cannot decide which time your contract allows you to bill.
