How to use this stopwatch
Select Start stopwatch to begin. Use Lap to record a segment without stopping. Pause stops the clock; Resume continues from the same elapsed time. Reset clears the clock and all laps.
What do lap time and total time mean?
Lap time measures the interval since your last lap. Total time shows the cumulative elapsed time when you recorded that lap. Paused time is excluded from both.
Does it work in a background tab?
Elapsed time is calculated from timestamps, so a background tab does not need to update every second to keep track. When the page updates again, it catches up. Keep the page open; reloading or closing it clears the stopwatch.
