How to set a countdown
Enter hours, minutes, and seconds, or choose a preset. Select Start timer. Pause and Resume keep your remaining time. Reset stops the countdown and lets you edit the duration again.
What happens when the timer finishes?
The timer stops at zero and displays a completion message on this page. There is no sound or push notification. Keep the page visible when you need to notice the end.
Can I switch tabs?
The countdown uses elapsed wall-clock time rather than counting browser updates. It catches up when a background tab updates again. Closing or reloading the page resets it; this tool is not a background alarm.
