Start timers on the web, on iPhone with Live Activities, in Raycast, or from a connected AI assistant. ## AI Auto Track for Mac The TrackTimer Mac app keeps a private timeline of your workday. Each block gets a title, a summary, a project, and a category. Turn a block into a time entry, with its summary as the description. Your activity timeline is visible only to you, and screenshots stay on your Mac. ## Chat with your time Connect TrackTimer to ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant through MCP and ask about your time in plain words. Ask what you got done today for a summary of your time entries; in assistants that support MCP Apps, your day also appears as a timeline colored by project, with tracked time, billable share, and earned pay. Ask for monthly hours and earned pay by project, or start, switch, and stop a timer by asking. Your assistant sees only your own time, in the workspace you approve, and you can disconnect it at any time. Fixed-fee projects track labor cost against the agreed fee. Non-billable projects still track hours and cost. Billing rates and pay rates are set separately for each person. ## Clients and contractors Invite clients to a free, read-only dashboard of their hours and billable amounts. Pay rates, costs, and margins stay private. Contractors see only their own hours and earnings. ## Invoices in Mercury Choose a client and dates, review billable hours at saved rates, and create an unsent invoice in Mercury. Review and send it from Mercury. Scheduled creation and sending are not supported. ## Raycast, AI assistants, and the API Start, stop, or switch timers from Raycast. The Mac app notes the app and window you’re using and reads the text on screen on your Mac. A short excerpt goes to TrackTimer’s AI to title, summarize, and categorize the work. Your account keeps the title, summary, time, category, project, and app names. Screenshots stay on your Mac. ### Can my team or my clients see my activity? No. Your activity timeline is visible only to you. Teammates and clients see time entries, never your activity. ### Do I need a Mac? Only for AI Auto Track, which needs macOS 14 or later. Timers also work on the web, on iPhone, in Raycast, and in AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. ### What can my clients see? Clients see their own hours and billable amounts by project and day. They never see your pay rates, costs, or margins, and client access is free. ### Can I switch from Toggl Track? Yes. The importer copies your Toggl Track clients, active projects, and team.
